Check a box against the chain.
How this works
Every box bought by a wallet account, from the wallet or from the game balance, belongs to a 10-minute round. Before a round opens, the
SHA-256 hash of its secret seed is published on Solana in a memo; after the round closes, the seed is revealed in another memo. The draw
of a box is sha256("gc-draw-v2" ‖ seed ‖ client seed ‖ id ‖ box index). The id is the purchase ID for a box paid from the game
balance, and the signature of the purchase transaction for a box bought from the wallet.
"Verify" reads both memos through a public RPC, in your browser, checks the seed against the published hash, recomputes the draw and runs the game's own engine code on it. The first 4 bytes of the draw seed the random generator. Its first number picks the rarity with the published odds (How to play → Agents); its second picks the character of that rarity. Each round also commits on-chain a hash of the odds and of this rarity rule (its parameters hash), and the check compares it with the odds this page uses. The character is shown against today's published agent list as a note: it is not on-chain and not part of the verdict, because the list grows when agents are added.
For a box bought with a wallet, "Verify" also reads the purchase transaction and checks that the round, client seed, purchase ID and pack the game used are the ones in its memo, that the box index is inside the pack, and that the purchase landed after the round's seed hash and before its seed was revealed. A box paid from the game balance has no transaction: compare its round, client seed and purchase ID with the order your wallet signed, and check that the box index is below its pack size.
The list below shows boxes bought on-chain, which are already public in the gc1:box: memo of each purchase transaction. Boxes paid from the
game balance are not listed, so that nobody can tie them to a wallet: look one up by its purchase ID. Beta accounts, agents from jails
and agents from combining are drawn by the game server and cannot be checked on-chain.
